Most computer users who own a computer don’t have the slightest idea about performing some surd of maintenance on their PC. People always wonder & complaint why their systems are so slow and the most common reasons are the following:

> Lack of Maintenance
> Wore out or stressed Hard Drive
> Not enough Ram
> System Infected with Malware
> System to Old

If you perform the following tips on a regular basis you will see a noticeable difference right away and if you keep it up the performance will always be there.

Computer Maintenance Tips
* Clean your system with compressed air inside and out to prevent system from over heating

* Install Windows Updates & other applications updates at least once a week
Microsoft comes out with updates all the time and when you download and install those updates you might fix known problems or makes things even more secure and stable.

* Run adware, spyware and virus scans weekly to remove & prevent potential threats
Do you do and use file sharing applications?, Do you browse the internet and correspond through e-mail?, If you answer yest to everything then there is a good chance you could be vulnerable to threats. Running a combination of all of this applications will remove most threats on your system. Sometimes when you are really infected not even the best programs will not do you any good but instead a combination of technical expertise and spyware tools can do the trick.

* Deleting unnecessary files weekly
Files can be generated so many different ways, when you browse the internet, e-mailing, installing programs, creating text files etc. You should delete unnecessary files at least once a week and you can use applications like disk cleanup built in windows or a third party application like Ccleaner a freeware. By doing this you can eliminate potential threats residing in your system and free up space in your hard drive.

* Perform a Scandisk or a Disk Error Checking to fix corrupted files in windows
How many times haven’t you shut down your system wrong or have you experienced any power outages at your place where there was no time to shut your system properly. Running this application built in windows can fix little issues before they become big problems.

* Perform a Defrag to organize your operating system, programs and personal files on the hard drive: Defragging is basically organizing every bit of information stored in your hard drive for quicker access to your data. Defragging your hard drive frequently will make your system run faster and will extend the life of your hard drive. Here is a simple check you can do to determine if your hard drive is showing signs of stress where it could lead to a possible failure. Put your ear close to your desktop or laptop, if you hear loud noises when the hard drive is saving your data that could be a sign of stress. You should have it tested with us so that we can determine if the hard drive needs to be replaced or not

* Paying attention to Alarms: Do you ignore those signs or do you take action and get it fixed before it becomes a big problem? If you answer is no then be prepare to pay the price otherwise if you say yes than you are in the right track.

If you begin to implement and execute a maintenance plan to your system you will begin to see results I guarantee it.
